Development Briefs
Development Briefs are a key to good urban design and set out detailed proposals for the development of land. They provide the link between the legislative or policy framework and the detailed design process by identifying the issues that need to be addressed by the development - such as the height and siting of buildings, the density of development, car parking and access, landscaping and open space issues. Preparation of an acceptable Development Brief is therefore often the key to securing good, and economically viable, development. We prepare Development Briefs for individual sites and projects and have a wide ranging expertise particularly in the fields of housing, commercial and leisure development projects.
